of the Art Awards
Best
Art & Design Products of the Year
Best Web Page Layout
Program
Macromedia takes home another award in the Web category for Dreamweaver. Everyone
here at Digital Media Net has been using it daily to produce more than 40 daily
content sites, and it would be difficult for us to imagine switching to anything
else. I can't speak (or write) for all the producers here, but daily content production
would not be feasible without the design and site management tools Dreamweaver
offers. And that's just Dreamweaver 3.
As I've mentioned before,
I have yet to get my hot little hands on the full release of version 4, but I've
played around with the beta release, and it looks spectacular, particularly with
improved workflow and built-in (and simple) Flash creation tools, which basically
allow for ultimate control over the layout of a Web page. Impressive indeed. This
award is hard won in a category of power players, but Macromedia deserves big,
big kudos for the quality of this HTML tool.
