Computer Systems Odessa today released ConceptDraw 1.58 for Macintosh and Windows, the latest version of the flowcharting and diagramming software package. The update is free to registered users of ConceptDraw 1.55.

ConceptDraw 1.58 adds the following new features and enhancements:

  • Fit To Text tool, which adjusts an object to the size of the text inside;
  • New capability to select multiple handles of any kind (not only vertices) for resizing and moving a number of objects at a time with the keyboard;
  • Smart Selection, which enables the program to remember which objects were selected the last time (if more than one) and allows the user to restore the entire selection by clicking on any of these objects;
  • Minor interface changes (menus, shortcuts, toolbars).
  • This update also fixes some known problems with printing, drag and drop and pasting into other applications.

The ConceptDraw 1.58 updater is available as a free download to current ConceptDraw customers from the program's site at http://www.conceptdraw.com. Demo versions of ConceptDraw 1.58 for Windows and Mac are available for download as well. The full version starts at $125 and can be purchased online. Volume and academic discounts are available. ConceptDraw is available in English and Italian. Spanish, French and German versions are expected soon.
