CrossArtist
Inc. has announced the release of CrossArtist 1.1, a tool designed
for the creation and delivery of dynamic digital content with
a focus on ease of use. This latest version adds support for Linux
(in addition to Windows 98 and 2000). The company says it will
add a Mac version as soon as the Mac OS supports Java 1.3, which
is expected with the arrival of OS X.
This new version
of CrossArtist further exploits dVisible, the company's content
performance technology, while adding usability and functionality
improvements. For example, the new version makes it easier to
add advanced visual effects like alpha blending and transitions.
Design productivity is also improved with several workflow enhancements,
according to the company.

browser and on any appropriate Java Virtual Machine.
CrossArtist
1.1 is available for download at http://www.crossartist.com/download/download.html
where users can also register for a free License. All holders
of free Licenses to CrossArtist 1.0 will need to register again
in order to use CrossArtist 1.1, while owners of Professional
Licenses to CrossArtist 1.0 will automatically receive an updated
license at no charge.
