Human Software Releases MagicTrack
Company also offers deals on Mac/Win Photoshop plugins

Human Software, a developer of graphics applications and plugins for a number of image editing programs, has released version 1.0 of MagicTrack for Macintosh and Windows 95/98/2000/NT. MagicTrack is a plugin for Photoshop 3 or higher (and compatible applications) that provides a set of drawing and text manipulation tools, including text flow and text or path warping. Special effects can be applied to paths to create tubular 3D simulations and all kinds of realistic effects, according to Human Software. MagicTrack 1 is available now for $99.

The company has also started offering discounts of 20 percent or more on a number of its products. All ofd the company's plugins for Photoshop, PhotoPaint, Illustrator and Freehand are on sale, as well as some standalone applications. We won't list them all here, but here are some examples of reduced pricing.

  • Design Collection (Squizz/Textissimo/OttoPaths) for Photoshop, Illustrator and Freehand is selling for $185. Squizz provides distortion effects; Textissimo is used to create effects on text; and OttoPaths allows for outline text manipulation with the ability to flow text along a path.
  • The Gold Design Collection, which includes all of the above, plus AutoMask, is selling for $215. AutoMask is a utility for creating masks.
  • The Stamina Collection includes Squizz, Textissimo and PhotoSpray for Photoshop, Illustrator and Freehand. It's on sale for $185. PhotoSpray lets you paint with images for Photorealistic effects.
  • The Stamina Gold Collection is selling for $215. It includes all of the above, plus OttoPaths.

All of the plugin collections are available for Mac and Windows.

The standalone application PhotoSpa is also on sale, currently going for $79. PhotoSpa is a Mac application designed for creating effects on headlines for the Web.
