Monaco Systems has announced an agreement with Xante to codevelop Xante ColourMatch for the Xante ColourLaser 1200 Pro Printer. Xante ColourMatch is a color management application that builds ICC profiles for monitors, scanners and printers.

The Xante ColourLaser Pro 1200 is a color proofing and printing solution for designers, print shops and business professionals. The 1,200 DPI model ships standard with 160 MB RAM, Adobe PostScript 3 and more.

Xante ColourMatch is based on the core profiling technology of Monaco Systems and is customized for the Xante ColourLaser Pro 1200. The program provides a method for creating ICC device profiles.

Similar to MonacoEZcolor, Xante ColourMatch uses a flatbed scanner to build printer profiles. This method negates the need to use a spectrophotometer to measure printed color patches, according to Monaco. For more information, visit http://www.monacosys.com or http://www.xante.com.
