ElectricImage today announced an update to its Amorphium Pro software
for Macintosh and Windows. The new version adds new features and
better rendering for Flash output, according to ElectricImage.
New features include numeric controls for line thickness of object
outlines, additional shading options and the ability to control
pixel samples for exporting higher quality .SWF images. Additionally,
a new drawing preferences option has been added to optimize the
level of interactivity in the interface by choosing how many windows
are updated in real time.
Amorphium Pro is ElectricImage's 3D modeling, rendering and animation
package targeted toward designers rather than high-end 3D creators.
It's geared heavily toward Flash output and includes modeling
features more akin to sculpting and painting than drafting.
Amorphium Pro is available for $349. The update is free for owners
of version 1.0, which started shipping last month. For more information,
