Wacom has
started offering a special deal to its customers on the purchase
of Corel Painter 6. Now through Feb. 21, owners of Wacom Graphire
and Intuos tablet systems can buy Painter 6 for $199. (it's usually
priced at $399.)
Painter 6 is the professional-level version of Corel Painter Classic.
Painter Classic ships with all Intuos and Graphire systems. Version
6 has a number of features not found in Classic, including:
- Unlimited
layers, which can be brought into Photoshop and PhotoPaint intact;
- Twice as
many brushes;
- Ability
to create and store custom brushes;
- Brushes
with a 3D feel to them;
- Tilt sensitivity;
- Brushes
designed specifically for work that will appear on the Web.
Existing Wacom

New customers will automatically be presented with the option
to order Painter at the special price when they purchase their
