Panopticum has started shipping Engraver 1.0, a new plugin for
Adobe Photoshop 5.x for Macintosh. The company shipped the Windows
version last month. Engraver is a plugin that cuts through images
with thin lines that form a geometric pattern, creating an engraved
or woodcut effect. The thickness of lines changes depending on
the initial image under the lines.
Engraver includes several filters that can make black and white
or colored engravings, cut through the image on the alpha channel
and use various geometric patterns for image shading, among other
features.
The plugin is available now for $39.95. For more information,
