So now we have our action ready to go. To save it as a droplet that will function properly requires just two steps. The first is to set your Batch Options; the second is to save the droplet. Both of these are done in the Actions palette. To set your Batch Options, go to the flyaway menu up in the top right of the palette.

Then set the default output folder for your action (if needed), as well as any other options you'd care to select.

Finally, with your action selected in the palette, go to the flyaway menu again, and choose "Create Droplet."

The droplet will appear wherever you've saved it. To use it, simply drag your images singly or in a group over the icon, and the action takes over from there.
