While there are other ways to create this same look, there aren't any that are easier to comprehend for the novice C4D user. In this movie tutorial, I'll demonstrate a simple way to create some fake looking watery liquid stuff. An object, a spline and Path Deformer Pro will get you on your way.Path Deformer is one of those plugins that is easy to understand. Not only can you quickly grasp what it does, but you can create results easily with it and deliver animations within minutes.
Renato Tarabella, the code writer of the popular plugin has created some new documentation for his plugins, including manuals for NOTA and Path Deformer.

This is an excellent plugin for a novice user. While finding out what it does and how make it work might be easy, figuring out what to make with it may be a bit more difficult.
To give you a creative jump-start for the plugin, I've made some fake liquid using the following objects in CINEMA 4D:
- spline
- particle emitter
- Sphere
- Null Object
- Metaballs
