One Fish. . .
Creating artwork in Photoshop ElementsAltering art is one of my favorite activities. I used to do the ?real thing but have no place to make the mess.
I have found that the computer is a great substitute if not more fun than the ?real thing.
In this tutorial we will take a photo of a yellow tang and create a piece of art work for framing, card making or even to iron on a tote bag. To download the project files for this tutorial, click this link (onefish.zip).
One Fish?
First we will start a new file. Go to File/New Blank File by clicking on the menu at the top of your software.
Fill in the settings on this way:
Now we are going to open the files we need for the project. Save the projects files somewhere you can remember.
Go to file/Open
The files included are:
� Yellow Tang
� Purple Scratch
� Black Scratch
� Cracked Frame
� FishTUT.abr
They will all show in the photo bin like this:
When I begin artwork, I always start by putting my center of interest on the page first. In this case it is the little yellow tang.
Click on your move tool which is the arrow with a plus sign on the top of the toolbox
Hold down your left mouse button and drag the fish to the file you just created.
